National Guard Health Affairs provides medical services to the families of the Saudi National Guard and local population at King Abdul-Aziz Medical City Riyadh. The hospital opened in 1983 and has been continuously expanding its services providing today 690 beds for inpatient services, 25 beds for surgical operations and 132 beds for emergency admissions.

The hospital provides state of the art medical services and is accredited under the Joint Commission International (JCI) standards.

The hospital has a vacancy for a Consultant Cardiac Surgery

Requirements: American Board, Fellowship of Royal College, Facharzt or equivalent and 3 years post board experience.

Salary: Potential tax free salary and annual bonus
Housing: Provided free of charge
Annual Leave: 30 days per one year contract or two and half days per month from date of hire. Eid/Holiday Leave: 5 days for Eid-Al-Fitr (Right after the end of Ramadan) /5 days for Eid Al Adha (Hajj holidays which is approximately 9 weeks after Ramadan/ Saudi National Day.
Annual Leave Ticket: The ticket is available after completion of nine months and upon re-contracting.
Direct Patient Care Staff:They are entitled to mid year benefits of 10 days leave with pay or airline ticket.
Nursing Positions: They are entitled to 10 days leave with pay and airline ticket equivalent to (Riyadh-London-Riyadh) depending on the season.
