Riyadh: Director of Health Information Management

King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) is a tertiary care ophthalmic facility operated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hospital provides quality tertiary ophthalmic care to the patients it serves and promotes the delivery of Kingdom-wide ophthalmic care through its outreach, educational, and research programs.

The hospital has a vacancy for

Director Health Information Management

  • Masters degree in Health Information Management

  • Registered (RHIA) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

  • Minimum of eight (8) years health information management experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience

  • Evidence of progressive advancement during the past five years

  • Current knowledge of AHIMA professional work ethics and practices

  • Current knowledge of JCIA Information Management standards

  • Working knowledge with electronic medical records

  • Working knowledge with computerizing patient records (CPR)

  • Working knowledge of hospital and medical terminology

  • Working knowledge of management theories and practices

  • Working knowledge with ICD-9-CM and/or ICD-10-AM coding.

  • Must have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
