Riyadh: Medical TV Manager

Author: Our client hospital a tertiary care ophthalmic facility operated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hospital provides quality tertiary ophthalmic care to the patients it serves and promotes the delivery of Kingdom-wide ophthalmic care through its outreach, educational, and research programs.
The hospital has a vacancy for a Medical TV Manager position.
The entry salary for the position is SR 13, 367 per month (US$ 3,564) plus benefits. There will be an additional monthly cost of living allowance of 10% of basic salary for this year and 15% for next year.
- Educational Requirements: Diploma in electronics technology; graduate of an associate degree program or an accredited television production program. Bachelor Degree in Mass Media (desirable)
- Professional Experience: Minimum of four (4) years experience in medical television techniques, including use and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment. Minimum of one (1) year experience in television ophthalmic surgical techniques or general surgery desirable. Minimum of one (1) year experience at a supervisory level.
- Specialized Knowledge: Working knowledge of database management programs. Capabilities in the following areas: organizational maintenance of audiovisual equipment; single and multiple tube television camera operation; location and studio television techniques; video and film production techniques; live television direction and engineering.
- Must have a good command of the English language, both oral and written.
